Montredon-Labessonnié ( Occitan : La Bessoniá (de Montredond) ) is a southern French municipality with 2,004 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region . Montredon-Labessonnié belongs to the Arrondissement of Castres and is part of the canton of Le Haut Dadou (until 2015: Canton of Montredon-Labessonnié ). The inhabitants are called Montredonnais .
geography
Montredon-Labessonnié is located in the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park , about 71 kilometers east-northeast of Toulouse , on the Dadou . Montredon-Labessonnié is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Antonin-de-Lacalm and Arifat in the north, Saint-Pierre-de-Trivisy in the northeast, Vabre in the east and southeast, Lacrouzette in the south, Roquecourbe , Saint-Jean-de-Vals and Montfa in the southwest, Vénès in the west and Saint-Lieux-Lafenasse in the northwest.
