Mouzens ( Occitan Mosens ) is a French commune with 125 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Castres and the canton of Lavaur Cocagne (until 2015 Cuq-Toulza ). The inhabitants are called Mouzenssois .

geography

Mouzens is located about 50 kilometers east-southeast of Toulouse and about 35 kilometers west-southwest of Castres . Mouzens is surrounded by the neighboring communities Cuq-Toulza in the north, Aguts in the east, Puéchoursi in the south-east, Saint-Julia in the south and Le Cabanial in the west and south-west.
