Bout-du-Pont-de-Larn ( Occitan : Cap del Pont de Larn ) is a French commune with 1,261 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Castres and the canton of Mazamet-2 Vallée du Thoré (until 2015: canton of Saint-Amans-Soult ). The inhabitants are called Bout-du-Pont-de-l'Arnais .

location

Bout-du-Pont-de-Larn is located about 17 kilometers southeast of Castres at the foot of the Montagne Noire (Eng. "Black Mountains") and is part of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park . The Thoré river limits the municipality to the south. Bout-du-Pont-de-Larn is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pont-de-Larn in the north, Saint-Amans-Valtoret in the east and Mazamet in the south and west.
