Murat-sur-Vèbre is a French commune with 846 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region . The municipality is part of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park and is crossed by the Vèbre River.

Murat-sur-Vèbre is the easternmost commune of the Tarn department. The Center d'interprétation des Mégalithes with twelve statue menhirs or their copies is located in the village . The Dolmen du Devès de Félines is also located in the village . A signposted circular hiking trail "Circuit des Statues Menhirs des Monts de Lacaune" (40 km) leads to 16 other statue menhirs.
