The Vèbre is a river in France that runs in the Occitania region . It rises near La Bessière , in the municipality of Murat-sur-Vèbre , generally drains in a south-westerly direction through the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park and flows into the Agout as a right tributary after 31 kilometers in the municipality of La Salvetat-sur- Agout . On its way, the Vébre crosses the Tarn and Hérault departments .
