Saint-Paul-Cap-de-Joux is located about 40 kilometers east of Toulouse and about 15 kilometers west-northwest of Castres am Agout , which borders the municipality in the north. Saint-Paul-Cap-de-Joux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Damiatte in the north, Serviès in the northeast, Guitalens-L'Albarède in the east, Puylaurens in the southeast, Prades in the south and Teyssode in the west.
