Massac-Séran ( Occitan : Maçac ) is a French commune with 386 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Castres and the canton of Plaine de l'Agoût (until 2015 Saint-Paul-Cap-de-Joux ). The inhabitants are called Massacois .

Massac-Séran is located about 28 kilometers east of Toulouse and about 28 kilometers west-northwest of Castres . Massac-Séran is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lavaur in the north, Teyssode in the east and southeast, Pratviel in the south and southeast and Marzens in the south and west.
