Lacaze ( Occitan : La Casa ) is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 298 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Castres and the canton of Les Hautes Terres d'Oc (until 2015: canton of Vabre ). The inhabitants are called Lacazois .

Lacaze is located in the Albigeois cultural landscape about 26 kilometers northeast of Castres and about 36 kilometers southeast of Albi . Lacaze is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Masnau-Massuguiès in the north, Viane in the east, Espérausses in the south and south-east, Fontrieu in the south, Vabre in the south-west, Saint-Pierre-de-Trivisy in the west and north-west and Rayssac in the north-west.
