Blan ( identical in Occitan ) is a French commune with 1,125 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Castres and the canton of Le Pastel (until 2015: canton of Puylaurens ). The inhabitants are called Blannais .

geography

Blan is about 35 kilometers east-southeast of Toulouse and about 15 kilometers west-southwest of Castres am Sor . Blan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Puylaurens in the north, Lempaut in the east, Lagardiolle in the east and southeast, Belleserre in the southeast, Revel in the south, Palleville in the south and southwest and Poudis in the west.
