Arifat is a municipality in the south of France with 164 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the area of Albi in the Tarn department in the Occitania region .

Arifat is located in the southern foothills of the Massif Central in the cultural landscape of the Albigeois approx. 32 km (driving distance) southeast of Albi at an altitude of approx. 415 m above sea level. d. M. The climate is temperate; Rain falls all year round.
