The Beutelmühlgraben is a tributary of the Kleiner Brombachses near Pfofeld in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia . Before the Franconian Lake District was established , the water flowed further north-east into the Brombach from the right at the eponymous bag mill in an area flooded by the lake today .

The bag mill ditch emerges from a small pond at an altitude of 419  m above sea level. NN east of Langlau . It flows steadily in a northeast direction. The bag mill ditch opens after a run of around 600 meters at an altitude of 411  m above sea level. NN northeast of Langlau in the Kleiner Brombachsee.
