District circular route Central Sauerland
The Central Sauerland District Circular Trail is a 102 km long hiking trail in the area of the Sauerland Mountain Club and one of a total of two district hiking trails in the SGV Central Sauerland District . The waymark is the diamond ◇ .
Course of the hiking trail
The district circuit begins in Echthausen , goes past the Arnsberg airfield to Höllinghofen Castle via Voßwinkel along the Voßwinkel wild forest to Holzen . The path continues past Oelinghausen monastery to Enkhausen and from there to Langscheid at the Sorpesee . Amecke follows , then Allendorf and Stockum .
The hiking trail continues via Linnepe , Altenhellefeld , Grevenstein and Meschede -erge to Wennemen. From here it goes to the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park on the Plackweg to Breitenbruch . In Neheim - Moosfelde the path continues over the Möhne to Höingen to the Fürstenberg past the Fürstenberg chapel. In the Ruhr valley, the trail combined with the Ruhr valley trail , it is at home Füchten the Ruhr crosses and then it goes back to the starting point Echthausen.
