Bian Ka ( Chinese  卞 卡 , Pinyin Biàn Kǎ; born January 5, 1993 ) is a Chinese shot putter .

Athletic career

Bian Ka gained her first international experience at the Junior World Championships 2012 in Barcelona , where she won the bronze medal with 16.48 m. In 2014 she won the silver medal behind the Uzbek Sofiya Burkhanova at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou . In 2015 she won the bronze medal at the Asian Championships in Wuhan with 17.78 m. A year later she qualified for the World Indoor Championships in Portland , where she finished tenth with 17.34 m. She also took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , but retired there with 17.68 m in qualification . In 2017 she took part in the World Championships in London and reached twelfth place in the final . At the beginning of September she won the gold medal at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat with 17.34 m.

In 2015 she became a Chinese champion in the shot put.
