The Bienkopf near Bärstadt in the Hessian Rheingau-Taunus district is 521.9  m above sea level. NHN high elevation in the Taunus low mountain range .

The wooded mountain is located at the southeastern beginning of the high plateau of the Kemeler Ridge , in the western Hintertaunus .

The Bienkopf is located in the western Hintertaunus in the Rhine-Taunus Nature Park . Its summit rises almost 1.5 km northwest of the Schlangenbad district of Bärstadt , which is located in the upper valley of the Walluf .

Natural allocation

The Bienkopf belongs to the natural spatial main unit group Taunus (No. 30) and in the main unit Westlicher Hintertaunus (304) to the sub-unit Westlicher Aartaunus (304.1).

Traffic and walking

About 250 m south of the summit of the Bienkopf, the federal highway 260 (partly also known as Bäderstraße Taunus ) runs in an arc , which reaches a height of about 510  m . Several hiking trails run by the Taunus Club lead past the summit.
