Big Moe (born August 20, 1974 in Houston , Texas ; real name Kenneth Doniell Moore , † October 14, 2007 ) was an American rapper and member of the Screwed Up Click.

biography

At the beginning of his career, Big Moe sang on the mixtapes of DJ Screw , who died in 2000 , called Screwtapes or Greytapes. Moe was later signed to the Wreckshop Records label . In 2000 the rapper released his first solo album City Of Syrup on Wreckshop Records . The rapper has worked with hip-hop musicians Mike Jones , Z-Ro , Chamillionaire , Fat Pat , Big Pokey , ESG , Big Hawk and Lil 'O , among others .

In 2002 Moe released his second album, Purple World . With the single Purple Stuff found on it , the Texan achieved national attention.

Big Moe and the Screwed Up Click helped the drug cocktail Sizzurp and Purple drink from the opiate codeine and soft drinks to a certain popularity. On October 7, 2007, the hip-hop musician suffered a heart attack. Moe subsequently lay in a coma and was kept alive by machines to which he was connected. On October 14, 2007, he finally died of the consequences of a heart attack and is thus after DJ Screw, Fat Pat, Big Mello, Big Steve and Big Hawk, another member of the Screwed Up Click who has already passed away.
