Bilabrin (also Bélabirim , Bélabirin , Bilabrine , Boulabirina , Boula Brin , Boulabrin ) is a village in the municipality of N'Guigmi in Niger .

The village is located north of Lake Chad , around six kilometers west of the state border with Chad . The city center of N'Guigmi, the capital of the N'Guigmi department of the same name in the Diffa region , is located about 37 kilometers to the southwest.

The French adventurer Stéphane Desombre stopped in Bilabrin in 1937 while crossing the North-South Sahara . In 2015, the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram , from neighboring Nigeria , also began attacking targets in Niger. Attacks in Bilabrin occurred on the night of October 29-30, 2019, with twelve Nigerien soldiers killed and eight others wounded, and on the night of May 18-19, 2020, with twelve killed and around twenty wounded soldiers.

At the 2001 census, Bilabrin had 838 inhabitants in 181 households. At the 1988 census, the population was 260 in 66 households.

There is a health center in the village with a Center de Santé Intégré (CSI). There is a market.

Bilabrin is the birthplace of the politician Mohamed Bazoum (* 1960).
