The Education Center for Technology (BZT) in Frauenfeld is the vocational school for technical professions in the canton of Thurgau . The school teaches around 1200 trainees and the same number of participants in further training courses.
Locations
The vocational training center has three locations, the so-called buildings I and II on Kurzenerchingerstrasse, in which the vocational training is housed, and the building for bridges on Zeughausstrasse. The vocational school is housed in Building II.

Professional baccalaureate
The vocational school is offered in all three variants. The accompanying BMS lasts three years and begins in the second year of apprenticeships for four years. The BZT also offers a four-year BMS for computer scientists. The course lasts 1.5 days in addition to the half day of vocational school. For successful apprenticeship graduates there is the one-year full-time school (BM2) and the two-year part-time school.

Bridge offer
The bridges on Zeughausstrasse are also under the management of the BZT. The so-called 10th school year is often attended by students who do not find an apprenticeship position immediately after finishing secondary school. The school prepares students for school lessons during the apprenticeship.
