In addition to the house where Daniel Boone was born, there is the "Brooke Mansion" in Birdsboro, a castle-like house that was designed by the architect Frank Furness .

history

Birdsboro is named after its founder William Bird , who built a forge in the 1730s, which was soon joined by other metalworking companies, by 1760 Birdsboro was already a small town and developed into an important center of iron processing in the later United States, in particular during the American Revolutionary War . In 1872 Birdsboro was incorporated into the borough of the same name.
