The Birkbach is an almost one kilometer long, southwest and right tributary of the Morsbach in the district of Aschaffenburg in the Bavarian Spessart .

The Birkbach (rear) flows into the Morsbach

The Birkbach rises at an altitude of 295  m above sea level. NHN between Gailbach and Grünmorsbach in a forest on the Kaiselsberg ( 366  m ).

It runs in a northeastern direction and finally flows out at an altitude of 207  m above sea level. NHN in a swampy area east of Grünmorsbach from the right into the Morsbach .

From the difference in height of 88 meters, a mean bed gradient of 90 ‰ is calculated. It drains its catchment area via Morsbach, Bessenbach , Aschaff , Main and Rhine to the North Sea .
