The Diocese of Córdoba ( lat. : Dioecesis Cordubensis in Mexico , span. : Diócesis de Córdoba ) is an in Mexico located Roman Catholic diocese , based in Córdoba .

history

The diocese of Córdoba was established on April 15, 2000 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Ministry Nostrum from cession of territory to the Archdiocese of Jalapa and subordinated to this as a suffragan . First Bishop was Eduardo Porfirio Patiño Leal . He was followed on July 4, 2020 by Eduardo Carmona Ortega ORC .
