The diocese Changde ( lat. : Dioecesis Ciamteanus ) is in the People's Republic of China Located Roman Catholic diocese based in Changde .

history

The diocese of Changde was on September 19, 1879 by Pope Leo XIII. established as the Apostolic Vicariate of Hunan . On December 3, 1924 was Apostolic Vicariate of Hunan in apostolic vicariate Changde renamed.

The Apostolic Vicariate Changde was on April 11, 1946 by Pope Pius XII. raised to a diocese with the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Changsha as a suffragan .
