The Bistum Gokwe ( lat. : Dioecesis Gokvensis ) is in Zimbabwe preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Gokwe .

history

The diocese of Gokwe was established on June 17, 1991 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Fidelium communitas from cessions of territory from the diocese of Hwange and subordinated to the archdiocese of Harare as a suffragan diocese.
