Angel Floro Martínez
Angel Floro Martínez IEME (born February 24, 1940 in Aýna ) is a Spanish religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Gokwe in Zimbabwe .
Life
Angel Floro Martínez joined the religious community of the Instituto Español de San Francisco Javier and was ordained a priest on June 28, 1965 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Gokwe on October 15, 1999 . He received his episcopal ordination on February 19th of the following year by the Bishop of Masvingo , Michael Dixon Bhasera ; Co -consecrators were Archbishop Peter Paul Prabhu , Apostolic Nuncio in Zimbabwe , and Ignacio Prieto Vega IEME, Bishop Emeritus of Hwange .
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on January 28, 2017.
