The Diocese of Ica ( Latin Dioecesis Icensis , Spanish diócesis / Tecnologico de Ica ) is a southeastern Peru situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Ica .

history

The diocese of Ica was founded on August 10, 1946 by Pope Pius XII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Ad maiora christifidelium from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Lima and subordinated to this as a suffragan diocese.

It covers the territory of the Ica region .
