The Bistum Idah ( lat. : Dioecesis Idahinus ) is in Nigeria preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Idah .

history

The Diocese of Idah was founded on September 26, 1968 by Pope Paul VI. established from cession of territory by the Diocese of Lokoja as the Apostolic Prefecture of Idah . On December 17, 1977, the Idah Apostolic Prefecture by Paul VI. raised to the diocese. It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Abuja as a suffragan .
