The Diocese of Jingxian ( Latin : Dioecesis Chimsciensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Jingxian in the People's Republic of China .
history
Pope Pius XI founded the Apostolic Prefecture Kinghsien with the Breve Ad uberiores on April 24, 1939 from cession of territory by the Apostolic Vicariate Xianxian .
She was raised to a diocese on January 9, 1947. The only bishop of the diocese was Leopoldo Brellinger . After the Cultural Revolution , it appears that the government moved the bishopric to Hengshui .
