List of steampunk works
Steampunk is a young literary genre that combines elements of adventure novels , science fiction and alternative world stories , setin an earlier epoch of human history (often the Victorian era), but enriches this with fantastic inventions, the design and obvious functions of whichcorrespond tothe means of the underlying Correspond to time, but actually represent anachronisms and are far ahead of the time shown, if at all possible.

Steampunk literature
This is a list of authors who have written at least one steampunk story (novel, short story, novella, etc.).
- Work should contain the title of the novel, story or narrative, first the original title in the original language, then the German one in brackets if the work was not originally published in German.
- Year of publication is the year of publication of the original edition and, in brackets, the German one if the work was not originally published in German.
- Under remark , for example, the series of novels or the collective work can be listed, or a special subtype of steampunk can be specified (e.g. steamfantasy, dieselpunk etc.)
- Receipt should include a source entry for the review, website, or literature / reference work describing that work as steampunk.
