Arlach is a part of the municipality of Tannheim in the Biberach district in Upper Swabia .

Arlach on the Leutkirch-Memmingen railway line

Arlach is about two kilometers east of the center of Tannheim and borders on the Iller , which also forms the state border between Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg . In 1370 the parish of Arlach lost its independence. The Chapel of St. Michael, built in 1781 under Abbot Romuald Weltin , is located in its area . Before the bridge was built over the Iller near Egelsee, there was a ferry dock in the village .

Arlach is the starting point of the Martinusweg, which opened on April 15, 2011, in the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese and is on the Leutkirch – Memmingen railway line .
