Kronwinkel is the southernmost suburb of the municipality of Tannheim in the district of Biberach in Upper Swabia .

Kronwinkel is about three kilometers south of the center of Tannheim on Landstrasse 260. The next neighboring town is Mooshausen in the Ravensburg district . On his district is located on a hill, the Outbound Castle Kronwinkel and on 28 July 1684 during the tenure of Abbot Plazidus Kobolt cornerstone laid Loretto Chapel . The former parish church, originally consecrated to St. Vitus , was initially incorporated into the later Reichsabbey Rot an der Rot , which sold the rights to the Lords of Königsegg at the end of the 14th century . In 1405 the Ochsenhausen monastery acquired the rights before Kronwinkel finally became a branch of Tannheim in 1424.
