The Bistum Miarinarivo ( lat. : Dioecesis Miarinarivensis ) is in Madagascar preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Miarinarivo .
history
Pope Pius XI founded the Mission sui juris Miarinarivo on December 13, 1933. On May 25, 1939 she was raised to the Apostolic Vicariate .
It lost part of its territory on January 13, 1949 in favor of the establishment of the Apostolic Prefecture Tsiroanomandidy . With the Apostolic Constitution Dum tantis it was raised on September 14, 1955 to the diocese, which was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Antananarivo as a suffragan.
