The Bistum Singida ( lat. : Dioecesis Singidaensis ) is an in Tanzania preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Singida .

history

The diocese Singida was on March 25, 1972 by Pope Paul VI. Established with the Apostolic Constitution In primaeva Ecclesiae from cedings of the dioceses of Dodoma , Mbeya and Mbulu as well as the Archdiocese of Tabora and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Tabora as a suffragan .

On November 6, 2014, the Singida diocese was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Dodoma as a suffragan.
