Edward Mapunda
Edward Mapunda (born September 30, 1964 in Mango , Tanganyika ) is a Tanzanian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Singida .
Life
Edward Mapunda received on 23 November 1997 the Bishop of Singida, Bernard Mabula , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On April 28, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Singida. The Archbishop of Tabora , Paul Ruzoka , donated him episcopal ordination on July 5th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Bukoba , Desiderius Rwoma , and the Bishop of Kondoa , Bernardin Mfumbusa .
