The Diocese of Dali ( lat. : Dioecesis Talianus ) is in the People's Republic of China Located Roman Catholic diocese based in Dali .

history

The diocese of Dali was on November 22, 1929 by Pope Pius XI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Munus apostolicum from cession of territory by the Apostolic Vicariate Yunnan-fou as a Mission sui juris Dali . The Mission sui juris Dali was on December 13, 1931 by Pius XI. with the Apostolic Constitution Quae ad maius raised to the Apostolic Prefecture .

The Dali Apostolic Prefecture was founded on December 9, 1948 by Pope Pius XII. raised to a diocese with the Apostolic Constitution Inceptum a Nobis and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Kunming as a suffragan .
