Wrong Side of Town is an American action film directed by David DeFalco in 2010. The lead role is wrestler Rob Van Dam .

Bobby Kalinowski, an ex- Navy Seal , is enjoying his life as a landscaper in Louisiana with his daughter Brianna and wife Dawn. When his new neighbor, the wine merchant Clay and his wife Dawn, invite him and his wife to dinner in a hip club, he initially declines, but is convinced by his wife. What neither Clay nor Bobby know: The club belongs to the gang boss Seth Bordas. His son Ethan (whom he pretends to be his brother out of shame before his early father role) tries to rape Dawn under the influence of cocaine . Bobby saves his wife just in time, but Ethan attacks him with the knife. When Bobby dodges him, Ethan trips and rams the knife into his own chest. He dies at the scene of the accident. Everyone involved is interrogated by the police, but since Bobby only acted in self-defense , they are released again.
However, Seth swears revenge and puts a heavy bounty on Bobby. The group is attacked on the way home. Bobby is shot and sends his wife home with Clay and Dawn. He tries to find his way back home alone and seeks the help of his former Navy Seals colleague Big Ronnie ("BR"). However, this initially refuses and lures him into a trap to collect the bounty himself. After Bobby appeals to his conscience, he changes his mind and helps his old friend.
When he gets home, Bobby finds out that Seth has kidnapped his daughter. At the port there is finally a showdown, in which Bobby and BR Seth can turn off.

The film was shot within three weeks in Baton Rouge , Louisiana . In addition to wrestler Rob Van Dam, there are also other supporting roles with members from the wrestling and mixed martial arts environment. So playing WWE -Wrestler Dave Batista Bobby's friend Big Ronnie. Nelson Frazier can also be seen in a supporting role . The fight choreography was done by Marrese Crump , a martial arts specialist and personal trainer of Batista. Hip-hop stars Ja Rule and Omarion also play a supporting role .
