action

The 28-year-old Elena Michaels has found the partner of her life in Clayton Danvers, until one small bite changes everything. After her transformation into a wolf, she left her homeland, where she grew up as an orphan, and her boyfriend to work as a photographer in Toronto . Today she is the only female werewolf in the world. In Philip McAdams she found a new partner in her life.

season 1

When a series of murders near her pack's ancestral home, Stonehaven, keeps the population in suspense, Elena reluctantly returns to her homeland to protect the werewolves' sanctuary. An unknown hunter threatens their pack.

Elena does everything to protect and support the pack. She also gets closer to Clayton again. But the two worlds Elena lives in - her free life as a photographer in the big city and her secret identity as a werewolf and part of a pack full of rules in Stonehaven - are proving increasingly difficult to reconcile.

The threat to their pack turns out to be an organized attack by werewolves who do not belong to any pack and are therefore hunted by the packs. After a losing battle, the uprising is put down.

season 2

To the astonishment of the pack, they learn that besides werewolves there are also witches. When a particularly powerful witcher threatens Elena's pack, they team up with a group of witches to defeat the witcher. He takes Elena prisoner to experiment with creating new female werewolves. Together, werewolves and witches finally manage to free Elena and eliminate the threat.

season 3

The alpha of the Russian pack, Roman Navikev, comes to America. He is looking for the decade-long fleeing werewolf Sasha Antonov, whom he blames for the death of his daughter. Antonov turns out to be Elena's biological father. He enlists his daughter and her pack for help, while Russian Alpha seeks Jeremy for assistance in the hunt for Antonov. Jeremy finds himself in the dilemma of either having to decide against Elena and her father or of endangering his entire pack by confronting the Russian pack.

Eventually, Jeremy chooses Elena. He tries to negotiate between Navikev and Antonov and to find a peaceful solution, but this fails due to Navikev's excessive desire for revenge. Elena's life is now at stake too, as she, as Antonov's daughter, is now the target of this revenge. Jeremy hands over the role of Alpha to Elena and tries to kill the Russian Alpha himself, but fails. Only with the help of his son is it possible to kill Navikev. When his son takes over his position as Alphas and wants to kill Jeremy and all the other members of Elena's pack, Elena decides to tear down the old order for good. They make the existence of the werewolves known and thereby end the old pack hierarchy. It is now possible for Elena and Clay to start a new, self-determined life.
