Bjørn Floberg

Bjørn Floberg (born September 12, 1947 in Tønsberg ) is a Norwegian theater and film actor.

Life

Floberg started his work at Det Norske Teatret in 1972 and has appeared in numerous plays such as Der Hausmeister , One Long Day's Journey into the Night and Saint Joan of the Slaughterhouses . In plays like Volpone and Miss Julie , he was each cast in leading roles. He also appeared at the Nationaltheatret in Oslo .

He became active as a film actor in 1976 when he took on a role in the Norwegian sci-fi film Oss . In the 70s and 80s he played in a number of Norwegian films and was seen alongside various other more or less well-known actors. His breakthrough came in 1993 with the film Telegraphists , in which he played the leading role. In 1997 he played the role of a murderer in the crime thriller Death Sleep , who used a detective as an alibi. He had his next major role in 2002 in the drama Dina - My Story , in which he played Dina's father.

In 2006 he played the role of villain again in the thriller Uro . For this role he received good reviews and was considered the best actor of villains in Norway. From 2007 to 2012 he then played the role of police inspector Jakob Hamre in the film adaptations of the crime novels by the writer Gunnar Staalesen about the private detective Varg Veum ; the series was broadcast in the first season on ARD and in later episodes by ZDF under the title Der Wolf .
