Bjarte Håkon Myrhol (born May 29, 1982 in Oslo , Norway ) is a Norwegian handball player . He played in the handball Bundesliga with the Rhein-Neckar Löwen am Kreis . He has been playing for the Danish handball club Skjern Håndbold since the 2015/16 season .
Career
Myrhol started playing handball in 1987 at Vestli IL. In 2002 he moved to the Norwegian top club Sandefjord TIF , with which he celebrated three championships and three cup wins. In the 2005/06 season Myrhol was with the Hungarian club KC Veszprém under contract, with which he won the championship. Then Myrhol played from 2006 to 2009 for the German Bundesliga club HSG Nordhorn . After the forced relegation of the Nordhorns, he moved to league rivals Rhein-Neckar Löwen . Since summer 2015 he has been playing for the Danish first division club Skjern Håndbold .
The trained physiotherapist has played 242 international matches for the Norwegian national team , scoring 761 goals.
