The Blaine ( called Blanette in the upper reaches ) is a river in France that runs in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises on the western outskirts of Courlaoux , generally drains in a south-westerly direction and flows into the Vallière as a right tributary after 26 kilometers in the municipality of Louhans . On her way she crosses the Jura and Saône-et-Loire departments .
