Blair Redford
David Blair Redford (born July 27, 1983 in Atlanta , Georgia ) is an American actor .
Life
Redford was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1983 and grew up in the suburbs of Canton , Georgia. He attended Sequoyah High School. He is an avid and successful tennis player and after graduating from high school turned down a scholarship to be able to act.
He started his career as a model . In July 2005, he got the role of Scott "Scotty" Grainger, Jr. in the soap opera Shadow of Passion . He played the role until February 2006. This was followed by guest appearances in various series, before he played the role of Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald in the soap opera Passions from 2008 to 2007 .
In 2010 he got in the pilot episode of The CW series Betwixt a leading role alongside Josh Henderson , Austin Butler and David Gallagher , but it did not become a series. In the same year he got the role of the seedy Oscar in the youth series 90210 .
In 2011 he got a lead role in the ABC Family series The Lying Game as Ethan Whitehorse , which premiered on August 15, 2011. He previously played a supporting role as Ty on Switched at Birth , which is also on ABC Family. After The Lying Game was discontinued, he returned to Switched at Birth . Since autumn 2013 he can be seen in the supporting role of Zach in Beauty and the Beast .
