Blandine Dancette (born February 14, 1988 in Firminy , France ) is a French handball player . She plays handball for the French first division club Nantes Loire Atlantique and in the French national handball team .
Career
Blandine Dancette played from 1999 for the French club HB Saint-Étienne Andrézieux. From the 2006/07 season, the outside player ran for the French first division handball Cercle Nîmes . With Nîmes she won the EHF Challenge Cup in 2009 . In the summer of 2016, she moved to league competitor Chambray Touraine Handball . Since the 2017/18 season she has been under contract with the French first division club Nantes Loire Atlantique Handball .
Blandine Dancette initially ran for the French youth as well as for the junior national team, with whom they placed 3rd at the U-17 European Championship in 2005, 4th place at the U-18 World Championship in 2006, 5th place at the U-19 European Championship 2007 and 7th place at the U-20 World Championship 2008. On June 28, 2009 she made her debut for the French national team. With the French team she took part in the Olympic Games in 2012 and 2016 . In 2016 she won the Olympic silver medal. A year later she won the World Cup in Germany . Further successes with the French selection were the silver medals at the 2009 and 2011 World Championships .
