The Bledesbach is the 9.3 km long, right source river of the Kuselbach in Rhineland-Palatinate , Germany .

geography

The Bledesbach rises southwest of Wahnwege at an altitude of 336  m above sea level. NN . It flows primarily in northerly directions and passes through Wahnwege, Hüffler , Schellweiler and Bledesbach , before reaching Diedelkopf at 240  m above sea level. NN united with the Pfeffelbach to the Kuselbach .

On its 9.3 km long path, the stream overcomes a height difference of 96 m, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 10.3 ‰. It drains a 29.697 km² catchment area via Kuselbach, Glan , Nahe and Rhine to the North Sea .

Water condition

The Bledesbach is one of the fine material rich, carbonate low mountain streams (type 6). From Hüffler on, its water structure quality is mainly indicated as moderately to strongly changed. However, longer sections are also shown, especially in the local areas, with very much to completely changed water structure. The water quality between Wahnwege and Schellweiler is given as heavily polluted, below Schellweiler as slightly polluted.
