The bleaching water , also called Flössel or Raumbuschflössel , is a right-hand tributary of the upper Spree in Ebersbach-Niederdorf in the Saxon district of Görlitz with a length of approx. 5 kilometers.
description
The bleaching water rises between the Kottmar ( 583 m ) and the Hasenberge ( 431 m ) in the Kottmarsdorf district on the edge of the Kottmarwald in a former peat cut . On its upper course to the west, the brook flows south of the Tümmelei through the forested ground "Kühler Morgen" and is crossed there by state road 148 from Kottmarsdorf to Ebersbach.
The middle course of the bleaching water leads in numerous small meanders through a swampy bottom on the southern edge of the space bush . At its lower exit, the stream is dammed in the "Old Pond" or "Black Pond" and behind it is bridged by the Ebersbach – Löbau railway line. The bleaching water then flows into the “Great Spinning Pond” or “New Pond”.
On its lower reaches, the bleach water flows in a south-westerly direction between the Bauerberg ( 406 m ) and the Klunst ( 440 m ) over the site of the former Gochtsche factory to Ebersbach , where the federal highway 96 crosses the stream shortly before its mouth. In the Niederdorf of Ebersbach, the bleaching water flows into the Spree below the railway viaduct .
Naming
The name Bleichewasser is derived from the bleaching and finishing institute Carl Gocht, which was located below the Klunst on the outskirts of Ebersbach in the Bleichewassertal.
Tributaries
Two nameless streams flow into the bleached water on the right. One comes from the tumbling, the other flows to the west of the space bush from the meadow pond.
