Bleyen is a place in the district of Märkisch-Oderland in Brandenburg and a district of the municipality of Bleyen-Genschmar . The municipality of Bleyen-Genschmar emerged on December 31, 2001 from the voluntary amalgamation of the previously independent municipalities of Bleyen and Genschmar .
Together with the municipalities of Alt Tucheband , Golzow , Küstriner Vorland and Zechin , official business has been carried out by the Golzow office since 1992.

history
In 1229, the Duke of Silesia , as lord of the land of Lebus, gave 300 Hufen to the Knights Templar for settlement on the left bank of the Oder. This is how the Lietzen Commandery came into being, to which Blewen (Bleyen) also belonged.
In 1824, government assessor Lindenthal bought the place by long lease. The last owner of the manor was Wilhelm Pahl.
In 1928 the rural community Altbleyen was established with the districts of Neu Drewitz and Neu Schaumburg.
In 1945 the last supply routes led to the Küstrin fortress via Bleyen.
