Blood Red Shoes is a rock band from Brighton , England .
history
The band consists of Laura-Mary Carter from London and Steven Ansell from Sussex . It was founded in 2005 after the former bands Lady Muck and Cat On Form split up. After more than 300 live performances, they were signed to the major label V2 in April 2007 . During the year she performed at festivals such as Reading and T in the Park . These and numerous other appearances, such as Participation in the NME New Music Tour , for example , contributed to increasing the band's awareness.
The first album by the band Box of Secrets was released on April 14, 2008 on the major label Universal .
On March 3, 2014 their fourth album Blood Red Shoes was released , which the band recorded in 2013 in Berlin .
style
The band's style can be described as alternative rock from the time ADHD was released . Because of their contract with a major label, the band refuses to be classified in the indie rock subgenre .
