1990 European Bobsleigh Championships
The 1990 European Bobsleigh Championship was held on 23/24. January (two-man bobsleigh) and 27./28. January (four-man bobsleigh) on the Olympic track in Igls .
Two-man bob men
A record field of 62 teams from 25 nations started the two-man bobsleigh European Championship. Four races were held, with races 1 and 2 on January 23, and races 3 and 4 on January 24, 1990. The two-man bobsleigh decision was lacking in attractiveness, as it took place in the middle of the week and part of the world's top bobsleigh , including the three top GDR bobsleighs , was missing, as they were preparing for the bobsleigh world championships that took place in early February 1990.
