Bobby Byrne (cameraman)

Robert "Bobby" Byrne (born 1932 in Jamaica , New York City ; † March 9, 2017 ) was a cameraman .

Life

After Bobby Byrne had assisted cinematographers Conrad L. Hall and William A. Fraker with their work in westerns like The Fearful Four and Westward of the Wind , it was over 10 years before he became director of photography for the first time in Hal Needham's boiled rascal of a feature film. For this he later made films such as Head and Neck , The Death Trap on the Highway and Cactus Jack .

Byrne was a member of the American Society of Cinematographers from 1994 .
