Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo ( Japanese ボ ボ ボ ー ボ ・ ボ ー ボ ボ , Bobobōbo Bōbobo ; also known as Bo × 7 or Bo ^ 7) is a manga by Yoshio Sawai , which was also filmed as an anime series.

action

In the year 300X, the whole world is under the tyrannical rule of the Maruhage Empire, and its ruler, Karl Baldhead IV. His malevolent hair-hunter troop hunts down all hairy people to shave them. The rebel Bobobo-Bo-Bo-Bobo rises up against this and can stand up to the hair-hunter troop with his fighting technique based on the use of nose hair, the Schnodder Kung Fu . In the course of the series, Bobobo-Bo-Bo-Bobo join more and more people, such as Beauty or Miefling to stand up to their enemies.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is described as a parody of the mangas Fist of the North Star and Dragon Ball , with the "surreal style" of Excel Saga . Highlighted is a sequence that is a "completely absurd" homage to the Bruce Lee film Bruce Lee - My Last Battle .

Quote: "[Bobobo-Bo] is ... the futuristic martial arts of Fist of a North Star and Dragon Ball , lampooned in the surreal style of Excel Saga ... [later], our heroes must scale five floors ... in a sequence reminiscent of Bruce Lee's Game of Death if the ... power of body hair fighting weren't so completely absurd. "
