Bohdaniwka ( Ukrainian Богданівка ; Russian Богдановка Bogdanowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Kirovohrad with about 4500 inhabitants (2001).
Bohdaniwka was founded in 1909 by residents from the nearby village of Zybulewe ( Цибулеве , ⊙ ). The town is the administrative center of the eponymous district municipality in the west of Rajon Znamianka nor the westernmost village of Kutscheriwka ( Кучерівка , ⊙ ) is one of about 180 residents.
Bohdaniwka is located on the banks of the Bohdanka ( Богданка ), a tributary of the Inhulez 15 km west of the Rajonzentrum Znamyanka and about 40 km northeast of the Oblast center Kropywnyzkyj . The N 01 road runs in the northeast of the village . The village has a train station on the Borschtschi – Kharkiv railway line .
