The Bolschaja Wisinga ( Russian Большая Визинга ) is a left tributary of the Syssola in the Komi Republic in the north of the European part of Russia .

The Bolshaya Wisinga rises on the northern flank of the northern Russian ridge . It flows mainly in a north-easterly direction. The river passes the village and administrative center of Wisinga and after a further 10 km it finally flows 70 km south of Syktywkar into the Syssola, which flows north. The trunk road R176 runs not far from the river and crosses it in Wisinga. The Bolshaya Wisinga has a length of 167 km and drains an area of ​​1970 km². The river floods during May snowmelt .
