Bonaparti.lv is a group of six Latvian tenors .

Participation in the Eurovision Song Contest

bonaparti.lv performed at the semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki , ( Finland ) with the Italian-language song Questa notte . In the semifinals they reached 5th place with a total of 168 points. In the final of the Song Contest they reached the 16th place with 54 points and were thus the worst placed semi-final qualifier. Before the competition, there were rumors that bonaparti.lv had won the semi-finals.

In the Latvian preliminary decision on the competition on February 24, 2007 they were able to prevail clearly against the runner-up Intars Busulis with 49,422 against 16,676 votes. In the Latvian semi-finals three weeks earlier, they emerged as the winners of the televoting with 9009 votes. The jury with equal voting rights chose "Questa notte" in second place.

"Questa notte" was composed by Kjell Jennstig , who wrote the text together with Torbjörn Wassenius and Francesca Russo .
